Delhiites greet Vyjayantimala!

The city's being treated to a lot of celeb presence. Not only are reigning Bollywood stars making a beeline for Delhi, yesteryears' stars are also gracing the capital.First it was Helen, Zeenat Aman and Sharmila Tagore, and now it's Vyjayantimala Bali. Her friend, Kanwal Chaudhri, hosted a party for her recently, and many people from Delhi's social circuit came to meet the lady. But someone was getting just as much attention as she was - her son, Suchindra .
CINE MEMORIES:
Kanwal and her son Karan Raj welcomed guests as they entered. A folk artist played the tune from the movie Nagin in a corner of the venue, and when we asked Kanwal about it, she said, "How can I forget Vyjayantimala's dance from this movie?" Roshan Seth reclined comfortably in a sofa, chatting with Rita Ganguly.
'I HAVE DONE ENOUGH’:
Vyjayantimala and Suchindra were the centre of attention throughout the evening. Looking elegant in a golden saree , Vyjayantimala said she isn't interested in a comeback to movies. "I have done enough in Bollywood movies. Right now, I am happy with whatever I'm doing. I'm busy with my dance performance, and that's enough for me." About her career as a politician, she said, "I guess it's always good to do something different," with a smile.
A DELHI BOY
Suchindra said he was almost a Delhi boy, and loves coming here. "I have studied in Hindu college, and it's great coming back to the city each time," he said. He also told us it had been a while since he came here.
