The Mirandians surely know how to add fun to their college life and up the temperature with their oomph factor.
Miranda House (MH) recently celebrated its annual fest, Tempest, in style and painted DU red.
High on fun: Apart from the usual, yet popular, Western music and choreography competitions, Tempest also boasted of some novel activities conducted by the Adventure Society.

Students enjoyed Rappelling, Burma Bridge, Flying Fox and Cat & Pirate Walk.
Brimming with talent: The college premises buzzed with crowd that was not only glamourous, but talented as well. It became a battleground of talent when colleges gave their best to outdo each other in the Western dance, Indian classical dance, debate, street play and English play competitions.
Music, Masti and mauj: On the first day of the fest, bands, Bandish and October performed for the crowd that went crazy when the bands belted out their original compositions and also some popular numbers like Socha Hai, RuBaRu and Summer Of 69. When asked if they enjoy performing at an all girls��� college more than a co-ed college, Adil of Bandish said, ���In a girls��� college of course. It���s great fun to perform live for so many fashionable and stylish girls.��� Shashvat of October added, ���Girls colleges spell more fun. The crowd really cheers you up. And MH has one of the best crowds in the country.��� Shubhangni was loudly cheered by the crowd when she was asked to strum the guitar on the stage.
Proud Principal: MH principal, Pratibha Jolly, was glad that the fest was a success and said, ���The credit goes to the students��� union. They worked hard to get everything in place.���
Yeh Dil Maange more: The tempestuous affair ended leaving the students asking for more. Purnima, a first year student, said, ���The fest was so much fun, but I wish the jam session had gone on for a few more hours.���
