Celebrating the big fat Indian wedding, Wedding Asia recently hosted the preview of the second season of their extensive wedding exhibition. The preview gave customers a sneak peek into the collections by the participating designers. Kimi Tej’s rich bridal lehengas focused on embroidery with zardozi work and crystal embellishments. Azalea by Aditi Gupta presented The Heritage Bride collection, inspired by the monuments and ornaments of Rajasthan, while the models dazzled in bridal jewellery by Manohar Lal Jewellers.
Ramola Bachhan, Garema Nagpal, Sunayana Chibba, Ritu Sood, Jai Madaan, Rishi Tej, Maninder Seti, Sameer and Preeti Suhag were some of the guests spotted at the preview, which also had a performance by city-based Sufi band Roots.
The extravagant three-day exhibition will showcase some of the emerging bridal couture designers, jewellers, wedding planners, trousseau packers, specialized photographers, customized shoe designers, makeup artists and invitation designers under one roof. Anupreet Sethi, founder of Wedding Asia, said, “This is a platform where exceptional wedding planning meets style.
