Vintage cars contest in Delhi

It was a perfect Sunday afternoon, as guests gathered at the Jaipur Polo Grounds to feast their eyes on the unique collection of vintage cars at a classic beauty contest. The event also saw the Indian Maharajas at their royal best.
The show was curated by Rana Manvendra Singh of Barwani along with conservationist and travel writer Mark Shand. Rana said, “This year, 56 cars are selected to compete in seven categories at the show, adding four new exciting classes to the previous event that was held in Mumbai in 2008.” Besides the classic beauties, the French actor Olivier Martinez, who loves vintage wheels, was the showstopper.We asked him about his lady love, Halle Berry, and he quickly replied, “Let’s not talk about women, only talk about cars.” Former international model,Yasmin Le Bon was seen with her 21-year-old daughter Amber. Making a rare appearance at the show was Princess Ezra of Hyderabad , Prince Azmet Jah and Prince Alexander Azam Jah.
