STYLISH COMFORT: In an attempt to capitalise upon the growing Indian market, Italy’s largest furniture company, Natuzzi, opened its first flagship store in New Delhi recently. Chairman and chief stylist of the group, Pasquale Natuzzi, flew all the way down to India along with wife Antonisa, to celebrate the launch. “Inspired by the contemporary and classic styles of living, our premium leather furniture will address our customer’s distinct lifestyle and will enable them to experience the art of living – the Natuzzi way,” the chairman was heard saying.
Nitin Bahl, country manager Natuzzi, said, “Our store is a unique shopping experience with furniture for every taste and with flexible furniture solutions and different styles.
The products displayed at the flagship store will showcase 51 years of Italian expertise through latest trends in the furnishing sector.” Italian Ambassador to India, Giacomo Sanfelice, also graced the occasion as the special guest.
THODA FUSION, THODA MUSIC: As the guest list included the Indian as well as Italian audiences, the organisers had arranged for a fusion of Indo-Italian music. Italian singers, Francesca Cassio and Antonello Papagni, along with Pandit Mohan Shyam Sharma, stole the limelight when they opened their performance by greeting everyone with Namaste and Sat Sri Akal. They even performed Raag Bhairavi. The event concluded with a fashion show, where the upcoming fashion designer, Ankita Chaudhry, displayed her designs.
