The night promised an eclectic mix of colour, rhythm and passion on the invite and that’s exactly what was offered to guests at this do.
One could see sensual acrobatic acts, make-up artiste Alex Rachid Redjam giving instant makeovers, designer ‘bartender’ Arjun Saluja whipping up interesting cocktails and DJ Iggy challenging the crowd to rock the dance floor, all of whom came together to make this party a success.

The theme for the do was Go GaGa, but only a few guests stuck to the dress code in funky outfits, garlands and unusual make-up.
BAR-A-BAR: Arjun turned bartender for the night and his green tea martinis were a hit among the crowd. When we asked him about his excellent skills behind the bar, he revealed, “When I was studying design in New York, I took up bartending as it is one fun job and pays you really well. And it’s sort of stuck with me as a passion since.”
Starting young: Vikramaditya, all of 17 years, was one of the artists whose paintings had been displayed here. Two of his works were sold even before the party came to full swing and he happily told us, “I’m very excited as this is my first exhibition. Most of my paintings are in tune with tonight’s theme.”
DARE TO BARE: Sharanya shocked everyone with her dare-bare rope act. She performed stunts on a hoop while the crowd cheered and clapped below. As soon as her act finished, Arjun embraced her in a what seemed like a longer than usual hug!
NO lady gaga: We were wondering if the makeovers were inspired by Lady GaGa, when Alex told us, “The look of my models is not inspired by her. I’m not a fan and believe her music and fashion sense is way too commercial to fit into the theme.” With the evening, the music changed from slow to progressive electronic. Priyanka, one of the organisers, said that she hoped party goers would enjoy the eclectic theme.
