Suneet Varma celebrates 25 years in the fashion industry

THEATRICALLY YOURS: At yet another event to celebrate completing 25 years in the fashion industry, Suneet Varma put up an elaborate show with dramatic sets and a circular ramp. Many from the fashion fraternity and Delhi’s social circuit were in attendance here, and almost everyone described the show as “incredibly sexy”. Before the show, Harmeet Bajaj gave a speech showering Suneet with praise, because she said that Suneet always told her, “Meeta, tu kabhi mainu appreciate nahi kitta.”
THE HARDEST WORKING DESIGNER: After the show, and between hugs from his friends, Suneet told us, “It took a whole year to plan this – the shoes, the bags, the accessories. I’m so relieved and so glad.” Designer Namrata Joshipura said, “I told Suneet that he’s the hardest working designer out of all of us.” Pushpanjali Chawla said, “I’ve known Suneet for many years now, ever since I came back to India. He designed for my engagement too and I love his work.”
