Season 11 reached Shyama Prasad Mukherji College recently. The

auditions

took place in the afternoon when the weather wasn’t too pleasant, but this didn’t dampen the spirits of the students, who participated in large numbers in the first round.

Participants burn the dance floorAlthough around 90 students participated in the first round, only 45 were successful in making it to the talent round. Only a few students decided to act and sing in the talent round, and most of the girls danced to popular Bollywood songs. From contemporary to bhangra – the girls performed their best to impress the judges and make it to the final round. STAR BOY LOC, who has been a Fresh Face judge earlier as well, said, “It always feels special to judge Fresh Face. I had an amazing time judging this college. Since most of the students were freshers, I could see the passion in them to prove themselves.”

And the winners are…The first-year students ruled the roost in this college. After competing with over 90 students, Ritika Nayak, a first-year student who danced in the talent round, was chosen as the winner from the college. Another first-year student, Yeshi Choezom, impressed the judges with her singing skills and witty answers and was selected as the first runner-up. Arushi Johri, also in her first-year, won the title of Livon Miss Fab Hair.
