Endearing hugs, a shooting-range-themed cake, and fans asking for selfies and autographs – that’s how the Paris Olympics’ shooting stars Manu Bhaker, Swapnil Kusale and Sarabjot Singh were welcomed at an event organised by the National Rifle Association of India and co-hosted by Diljeet Titus of Titus & Co Advocates, to celebrate this feat at ITC Maurya, Delhi.

“My ultimate goal will be winning the Olympic gold while winning other competitions in the run-up to LA 2028,” said Manu Bhaker.

‘Bronze medal is a step closer to gold’
“Ab aur achha perform karna hai! I prefer to stay slightly detached from my wins and losses, thoda feel kam karta hoon. This is my strategy to stay focused on my game,” said Sarabjot Singh.

Swapnil Kusale added, “The bronze medal is a step closer to the gold, definitely, but now my focus is on my physical fitness and becoming mentally tough for the upcoming tournaments.”

We had three number 4s (position 4), and we missed three medals by a whisker - that's the strength of the Indian shooting team.
