Indian touch: With Sandy Gabreil on saxaphone, Hisdras on drums and Joel Guzman on the congo, the highlight of the evening was the Latin band that belted out numbers that set the mood for a carnivalesque evening of music and masti.

We spotted Eika Diaz, the lead dancer of the band, busy clicking pictures of the band. Not to be missed was the bindi and the nosering that she was sporting. Talking about her interest in Indian dance, she said, ���There are many similarities between Indian danceforms and samba. Both are about expressions.���
It���s hot! Promila Bahri was dressed in a green, flowy, off-shoulder gown. Promila said, ���The weather is just perfect to wear something like this.���
