Reds, blacks & lots of love at Bhaichand Patel’s annual V-Day bash

Rain or hailstorm, nothing really could come in the way of the annual Valentine’s Day celebrations at Bhaichand Patel’s residence. Over the years, this celebration has become a ritual for Bhaichand and his friends. This year, the rain did delay the party by a day, but it was fun, just like every year.
Bhaichand told us that it was a hassle for him to postpone the party and inform his guests at the last minute, but his friends were excited like always. “I have been hosting Valentine’s Day party for 20 years now and I was thinking if I should stop hosting it from next year as it’s not easy to organise such a party single-handedly. But then I see everyone having such a good time here, so now I really don’t know what I should do,” he said.

Among the many reasons why Bhaichand’s friends look forward to attending the bash, one of the biggest is – lots of dancing. The host, of course, was the first one to get on the dance floor and everyone followed. The dancing to classic English numbers continued till late night. , Sharon Lowen, Yuri Suri and Rohit Bal. “I have been coming here for many years now and I really enjoy being here. I was travelling for the last few days across India for my performances and returned to Delhi a couple of days back, I thought this party would be a good way to meet all my friends,” said Shovana. The danseuse also told us that she performed at the ongoing Kumbh Mela last month. “I have performed earlier also at Kumbh, but this year I noticed that the intezaam was very good,” she said.
