The dogs were on a ramp-age and how!
A special stage was set up and they walked (read strutted, stopped, jogged, panted and acted) on the catwalk. Whatever their attitude, the event was a complete entertainer and an opportunity to bask in the sun.
WE SAW: Meghna Valaya, Raseel Gujral and Navin Ansal, Leena Singh and her daughter Riya, VN Dalmia and his daughter Himani and son Pranav, Gauri and Nainika Karan, Angad Bedi and Parul Vadehra amongst others.
Riya had dressed her dog in a flashy red embroidered outfit. She said, This is a special dress that Ive designed for him to wear for this show. JJs daughter Purvi took her dog on the ramp. Ashish Soni was there too and so were AD Singh, Sanjay Sharma and his wife Sheena. Seema and Sandeep Jajodia came with their kids Nikunj and Nikita and Nafisa Ali was seen soaking the sun and petting Purvis dog, Vidyun Singh walked in too and Mandira Koirala had news to share, Im in the family way, Im four months pregnant. Congratulations are in order then!
MORE! Usha Uthup sang the famous number Dum maro dum amongst her other hits. The show concluded with a fashion show where models displayed Manish Arora, Rajesh Pratap Singh and JJs creations. Gudda came too, but late. Sporting a red cap, he admired the various dogs at the show. Rakshanda Khan was the emcee and we also saw Mandira Bedi looking really happy (see picture).
