It’s celebration time: The ambassador of Poland, Piotr Klodkowski, celebrated Poland’s Constitution Day with friends and diplomats in the capital recently. The discussions ranged from Osama’s death to Will-Kate’s wedding. Preneet Kaur was the chief guest at the do, and Piotr Opalinski, the deputy ambassador, was at attention, helping out Klodkowski where required.
While the event saw foreign guests in attendance, mostly from the various embassies located in the city, they didn’t forget to give an Indian touch to their look. Martha Maniere was wearing a gajra in her hair. “Mujhe yeh bahut pasand hai,” she said in her accented Hindi. Irina, a Pole, who married an Indian last year, was seen donning a sari, a mangal sutra and a chooda.
