Vasu Primlani began the evening with a laugh-a-minute stand-up routine that had everyone in splits, with jokes ranging from gay stereotypes to the travails of Delhi Metro commuters. This was followed by dance performances by four drag queens from the capital, who drew loud applause and a smattering of whistles with their energetic performances. The finalists of Miss Trans Queen India 2018 then walked the ramp to cap off the celebration.

Filmmaker

Faraz Arif Ansari, known for making India’s first silent LGBTQ love story Sisak, said, “It was a wonderful end to an amazing day and there couldn’t have been a better way to celebrate it.”
