Heritage, cuisine and performance take centre stage at Rambagh Palace
IHCL’s iconic brand Taj has introduced the first edition of Ninaad at the historic Rambagh Palace in Jaipur. The three-day event was designed as a meeting of art, culture and storytelling, set within one of India’s most well-known heritage hotels. The programme brought together live performances, heritage experiences and carefully planned dining journeys, all held inside the palace, which is known as a Living Legacy of Taj.
The celebrations began with a sarod recital by Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash. Their performance set the tone for the event, focusing on classical music and quiet reflection. This was followed by a Royal Feast Under the Stars, prepared by the Master Chefs of Rambagh Palace. The dinner showcased flavours from Rajasthan and was hosted in the Mughal Lawns, with the palace providing a grand backdrop.
The evening also featured a poetry session by Shailesh Lodha. His verses combined emotion, humour and thoughtful ideas, and encouraged the audience to pause and reflect. Later, guests attended a couture showcase by designer Anamika Khanna, held within the palace setting. The night ended with a seven-course seated dinner, along with a performance by The Bombay Choir. The event was attended by invited guests and figures from the cultural world.
Ninaad reflects Taj’s long-standing association with Indian heritage and its aim to present culture through carefully planned experiences. With palace hotels across cities such as Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Varanasi and Mumbai, Taj continues to play a role in preserving historic spaces. Future editions of Ninaad will build on this idea, with a continued focus on art, tradition and storytelling.
