New kid on the block
The Debut’ is WIFW’s way of promoting young talent. In its third year, twelve promising fashion students were shortlisted for The Debut finale.
The ones selected for the finale showcased their designing talent and wowed the jury that comprised designer Rohit Gandhi, Sanjay Gupta, Mohan Neelakantan and Kamal Bose.
Shabaash! That���s what Atul Chand, divisional chief executive, ITC���s Lifestyle Retailing Business Division had to say. ���This initiative encourages youngsters and also gives them a platform to interact with leading names in the fashion industry. I hope the initiative goes from strength to strength in the years to come,��� he said.
