Actress Neha Dhupia came home to Delhi, but it wasn’t only for fun.
The actress also inaugurated the MMTC Festival of Gold 2007, and the gilded nine-day event has seen consumers make as much of a rush for gold as ever. Sanjiv Batra, CMD, MMTC, was all smiles, “We are expecting around eight to ten per cent increase in sales this time around, because consumers have more buying power these days,” he said.
And the jewellery and gold products on display were designed to dazzle – including beautiful pieces from Gitanjali, both plain and studded.
Moreover, the fest was all about shudh jewellery, as BIS has been working with MMTC to ensure the hallmarking of jewellery.
