National Cancer Survivors Day hosted by Shalini Vig Wadhwa in Delhi

FOR A NOBLE CAUSE: Shalini Vig Wadhwa recently hosted a special evening to celebrate the National Cancer Survivors Day in the capital.
Several cancer survivors and Wadhwa’s friends were all present here to support this noble cause. The evening was part of the fourth edition of the Festival Of Hope, a fund-raising event organized in association with the NGO Indian Cancer Society, which celebrates the courage and spirit of cancer survivors.
TO SPREAD AWARENESS: On the occasion, Shalini said, “This evening is dedicated to all the cancer survivors. Our motive is to make each one aware of cancer, so that they learn to be alert and are able to detect early symptoms and access the various treatments available to cure the same. The funds, which are collected from events like these, are eventually used for research and development.” Many designer friends of Shalini displayed pieces from their collections, which were put up for sale here.
