Music & fun unlimited at DT Fresh Face 2011

When the auditions of the Clean & Clear Delhi Times Fresh Face 2011 reached Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, confident fuchchas and experienced seniors gathered as soon as DJ Khushi started playing the music.
Anticipating a heavy downpour, emcee Madhukar Malhotra tried to rush through the introduction round. While the freshers were busy impressing the crowd, a group of seniors started beating a dhol.But soon it started raining heavily and the show had to be shifted to the college canteen.
From Stage To The Canteen: As the canteen got crowded, the talent and the Q&A rounds were combined. The absence of a ramp didn’t deter the contestants from showing off their ramp walk skills. Knowing that the two girls who win this contest get a chance to become the face of Clean & Clear, the girls made sure they fought hard for the title. In the final round, Radio partner Radio Mirchi’s RJ Safia asked clear-skinned Gunveen Ghumman what would she say to her boyfriend if he catches her two-timing? “I’ll tell him that we had never decided that this will be an exclusive relationship.” she said. When asked about a fashion faux pas that girls make, Rishabh Raj said he doesn’t like girls wearing bangles with Western attire.
Gunveen and Rishabh were declared the winners. Nitibha Kaul and Pushkar Kumar were adjudged the first runners-up. The second runners-up position went to Pallavi Kaul and Siddhant Jain. If you also wish to be a part of the contest, register on itimes.com/freshface to participate.
