"I live in Preet Vihar (Jamna Paar). People there have a kind of rawness in them. Most of the actors, who are from Delhi, come from this side of the city. Unki language logon ko bohot pasand aati hai screen pe, yeh benefit bhi hai. I think most of the fukras are from east Delhi," he joked.

Talking to us about his initial days in the capital, he shared, "I have done my schooling from

Harvard Academy

in Preet Vihar and then I did my graduation from correspondence because my percentage did not meet the cut-offs in DU. Mere 10th, 11th aur 12th milake bhi itne marks nahi bane thay jitne yeh bachche ek semester mein le aate hain. I can’t understand how they study so much. I got 74% in my 12th boards and I wanted to study in either Hindu or Hansraj. Yahan padhna tha kyunki naam hai unka."

The actor had shot for the first installment of Fukrey at

Miranda House

and wishing it was a co-ed, he added, “If Miranda was a co-ed college, I would have loved to study there. The crowd is amazing at Miranda House.”
