Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Gold Cup 2014 sees full attendance in Delhi

UNIQUE MATCH: It was a packed house at the Japiur Polo Grounds for the Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Gold Cup 2014, where three teams played a unique game to fight for the trophy. Though the days leading to the finals saw a lot of unexpected rain, which even led to the cancellation of a few matches, the sun shone bright on this day, which meant that it was the perfect polo weather.The game was divided into three parts, where the three teams participated in two-chukker games. At the end of the third game, the finalists were tied at two goals each, and were ultimately declared joint winners.
PACKED STANDS: The central stands saw members of royal families in full attendance, standing out in their georgette saris and formal wear. We also spotted Farooq Abdullah, Vijay Amritraj, Najma Heptullah and others from the social circle here.
