Golf lovers in the capital must have had their fill over the last four days, thanks to the 41st Ladies Northern India Golf Championship.

Golf lovers in the capital must have had their fill over the last four days, thanks to the 41st Ladies Northern India Golf Championship.
The event included amateur golfers (all the participants were less than 20 years of age).�� Also present were senior golfers like Aneeta Bhatia, Sanjay Talwar, Siddhartha Shriram, and others. Indian Golf Union president, TT Jaganathan was also there.

The event, but obviously concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. Young Neha Tripathi of Fort William Golf Course, Kolkata was announced the winner. Gurbani and Shreya Ghei both of whom who played fairly creditable games were announced as first and second runners up respectively. Shweta Galande, Meher Atwal, Vani Kapoor, Raksha Phadke and Laverry Kumar were also lauded for their commendable performances.

They definitely have a bright future ahead. Recently, we have started institutes where we can train coaches and this will benefit the amateurs. We are also promoting the game on a wider scale.���
The four day event ended with a thanksgiving note by Aneeta, and a small get together following that.
