Girly stuff: Girls, makeup and Saturday afternoon make for a great combo. Makeup artist Meenakshi Dutt, in association with Elizabeth Arden, spent the afternoon at Florian – Party & Events Venue demonstrating how to get the perfect retro look. She said, “I love the glam makeup and overdone hair. The corporate look is fine, but sometimes, flamboyant is fun!
Makeup disasters: Preeti Ghai shared with us one of her makeup disasters.“I’d once applied very dark maroon lipstick, and I always accentuate my eyes, so it was a disaster. You should go nude on the lips if you’re going dark on the eyes,” she said. Meenakshi’s makeup disaster was also eye-related. “My faux eyelashes were coming off, and I couldn’t do anything about them because I was at an event!” she said.
