IP University cancels musical evening due to overcrowding

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University cancelled the musical evening on the last day of its annual cultural festival - Anugoonj. Singer Mohd Irfan, whose performance was scheduled for the last day of the fest, was cancelled due to overcrowding on Day 2. The fest witnessed Sunanda Sharma perform on the second day of the festival and the performance was attended by over 50K students. Considering the safety of the students in mind, IP University cancelled the musical evening on Day 3 due to 'administrative reasons', as mentioned in a circular issued by the university. However, all other cultural performances were organised as scheduled.
