Sundeep Bhutoria hosted a reception at the Copper Chimney banquet in Lexington Avenue, New York, on Saturday to celebrate the 203rd Executive Committee meeting of World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) held at the United Nations Plaza.

Sundeep Bhutoria hosted a reception at the Copper Chimney banquet in Lexington Avenue, New York, on Saturday to celebrate the 203rd Executive Committee meeting of World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) held at the United Nations Plaza.
Bhutoria is the first Indian to hold the office of treasurer of this prestigious UN body. WFUNA, created in 1946, is today a global network of people linked together through United Nations Associations (UNA) in over 100 UN member states.

These networks enable people to connect with each other on critical global issues, from peace and human rights to the spread of human rights, equitable development and international justice.
Diplomats from different regions of the world, UNA representatives from different regions and executive committee members of WFUNA attended the dinner. Among others who came were prominent New York-based NRIs, hoteliers, industrialists and eminent dignitaries from the world of art and culture. KK Mehta, founder of Rajasthan Association of North America was also present. The high point of the dinner was a lavish Indian buffet which the guests thoroughly enjoyed. Gajar ka halwa and samosa were the most ‘in demand’ dishes.
