The 12th Kelvinator GR8! Women Awards were held in Mumbai recently. Kelvinator has been instrumental in shaping this event with their association over the past seven years.
The 12th Kelvinator GR8! Women Awards were held in Mumbai recently. Kelvinator has been instrumental in shaping this event with their association over the past seven years.
Dignitaries from various fields attended the event, which celebrates the spirit of womanhood. The awardees included Shakuntala Devi, who received the Golden Laurel award. The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to veteran actress Mala Sinha and the Golden Laurel – Cinema award was conferred upon Sulochana Devi.
Alka Yagnik received the Kelvinator Coolest Woman of the Year award and Mamata Banerjee was awarded for her achievement in politics, although she couldn’t attend the ceremony due to prior commitments.
Oscar Winner Bhanu Athaiya was awarded for Costume Designing. The evening saw performances by Prachi Desai and Zarine Khan.
