It’s tough not to talk about cars when a beauty on wheels is in the vicinity, but at a recent event organised in the city, guests were truly spoilt for choice for conversation.
Golf and glamour came together at this event in the form of a fashion show and an award ceremony, which celebrated the 11th golf edition of the Mercedes Trophy India and 125 years of Mercedes-Benz.Peter Honegg, MD & CEO of the brand, said, “Ever since the first days of automobile, there was one strong and telling statement by our founding father Karl Benz, and it reads – the best or nothing. This golfing tournament that offers patrons an opportunity to compete internationally, gave away awards to golfers who’d participated in the tournament earlier. The rising golfer Gaganjeet Bhullar was accorded a special mention. Designer-duo Shantanu and Nikhil showcased their new line, ensuring a right dose of glamour at the do with the models swaying down the ramp with much oomph. .
