Talking about the event,

Vikramjit Sahney

, International President, WPO, said, “We have come together to celebrate the spirit of Punjab and to celebrate the hardworking Punjabi entrepreneurs. Though we organise this event every year, this time we have focussed on Punjabi music. Artists have performed folk and Sufi music, along with bhangra and giddha. Sufi music has been an integral part of Punjab’s music culture. The purpose of today’s programme was also to promote Sufi music among Punjabis.”
