Dancing their way into the New Year

New Year was ushered in with a lot of fun and hungama at Liza Verma and Uday Desai���s annual year-ender bash.
To make sure that they didn���t get caught in traffic, guests started arriving as early as nine in the evening. Fashion designer, Abdul Halder, said, ���Last year, I was caught in the traffic for a couple of hours and ended up wishing all my friends over the phone.To avoid getting into a similar situation, I left early and reached early.���
Of belly dancers: It seems belly-dancing has caught everyone���s fancy in Delhi���s party circuit. Here too, international dancers had been called to entertain the guests. The guests were also seen letting their hair down and rocking the dance floor like there was no tomorrow. Make-up artiste, Meenakshi Dutta, led the jig and soon Liza, Abdul, Charu Parashar and others followed.
Where was Johnny? We spotted singer, Nitin Mukesh, with his family. When we asked where his son, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh was, he said, ���He will join us later.��� and added, ���Even though we were not in the mood to party after what happened in Mumbai, Delhi���s cold weather has made the party so much better.���
One for the cold: We spotted models, Aanchal and Tejan, sitting quietly in a corner. When asked what was keeping them from jiving on the dance floor, Aanchal said, ���It is so cold. So, I thought I will sit in a corner and sip soup.��� Chintu, Siddharth and Sharon, members of The Band of Boys, had whale of a time together.
