Leaves from the creative diary: At this event hosted by Ajay and Sanjeev Bijli, more than 1,000 children from various schools in the city put their creative best into filmmaking.
The event, called Cineart Diary, saw the unveiling of the artworks and short films by Sheila Dikshit, the Delhi CM. Eighty-eight of these students, who’d attended content and technical workshops on filmmaking presented short films on the theme, ‘Our World’.“The idea is to bring the children closer to their city and heritage through the creative medium of cinema and art,” said Ajay. Later, the students were also felicitated. A dance performance by the students and special children, which was choreographed by Amitabh Pathak, was loved by all.
