There were heart-shaped balloons, teddy bear soft toys, romantic songs performed live and a whole lot of red colour at Bhaichand Patel’s annual Valentine’s Day do. According to the dress code for the evening, the guests could wear either red or black, or both.
While some gathered around the fireplace in the house, others danced to songs like “Blue Suede Shoes” and “Cha Cha Cha” played live by a band.
We asked some present if they believed in celebrating Valentine’s Day, and
Monika said she didn’t believe in Valentine’s Day, but believed in “love, partying and Bhaichand, because he’s a dear friend.”
