At Kalindi College, DJ Sumit Sethi transported us all to the seventies.
He played Rangeela Re, Eena Meena Deeka, Tally Ho, Gore Gore O Banke Chore, Govinda Ala Re, Husn Ke Lakhon Rang, and O Haseena Zulfon Wali among others.
And other than the occasional demand for new songs, the girls completely loved the retro mood. And Palak Kohli���s hairstyle matched the mood too and emcee Madhukar gave her the title of modern day Waheeda Rehman.

The girls sure wowed us with their guts.During the talent round, one of the girls acted like a drunkard. She also made emcee Madhukar, her partner in crime by asking him to play the drunkard���s wife. The two of them did a great act coupled with hilarious filmy dialogues. The crowd loved every moment of it and went berserk laughing.

After all the fun and masti of the talent round, the top ten were quizzed by the judges. Shoot model Nicole Faria was among the judges. Akriti se poocha what wishes she would ask a genie to grant her. ���I want to be successful, rich and want the best for my family,��� she said. Her confidence and ramp walk won her the Miss DT Kalindi College title. Astha was asked what she would tell Himesh Reshammiya if she won a date with him and she said, ���Make no mistake, I���m not going to go anywhere with Himesh. He���s too short.��� Garima was asked what her take on live-in relationships was. ���Live-ins are fine, they are at least better than marriages.��� Astha and Garima were the first and second runners-up respectively. Mahima tried to be politically correct when she was asked about her opinion on low waist jeans and whether students should be allowed to wear them. ���Students shouldn���t be allowed to wear them, low waist jeans are so cheap,��� she said before the crowd cut in. ���Duh���, the girls shouted.
Manupriya said, ���Shoes, bags and clothes don���t interest me. I don���t respect someone for what they wear but for who they are.��� Kritika said that it would be sad for her to deal with a bitter break-up but, ���I���ll move on and try to get the next guy.��� Snigdha was asked what would she do if she had to choose between a seedha saadha, achche nature ka but poor and a super bigda but rich guy, she said, ���Diplomatically talking, I���ll go for the seedha saadha guy but since I am not a diplomat, I���ll say that I���ll go for the super bigda ladka.��� Another girl said that if she fell for a guy who was six inches shorter than her then, ���he would just have to buy heels, I think.���
