For the love of art: In a recent art show held in Delhi, siblings Arjun and Divya Nirula displayed their work. The surprise element of the exhibition was a huge portrait of
Rahul Gandhi which was unveiled by Sheila Dikshit. Interestingly, the CM has been taking out time out to visit many art exhibitions in Delhi.
Just Okay? Among those who came was Sushma Seth, who came with her daughters, Divya Seth and Pooja Seth.
When asked how she liked the Rahul Gandhi potrait, she shared, “Well, I actually like the other paintings better than the Rahul Gandhi one.”
The family way: In-out-in-out went Nafisa Ali, who while waiting for her daughter and son-in-law, seemed rather upbeat and jovial. “You know what, I’m going to be a nani soon. I’ll become a nani on November 5. Click our pics na,” she exclaimed. While she happily posed, daughter Armana seemed embarrassed and blushed but lovingly posed for a picture.
Not serious about series?Sanjay Bhattacharya, the painter who had painted the Rahul Gandhi portrait, shared, “I’ve been up all night, giving finishing touches to the painting. The paint is still wet and I took great care while brining it here. In fact, I came sitting in the truck with it, making sure that the wet paint doesn’t get smudged. I’m very tired now, but relieved that people are appreciating my work.” Incidentally, the artist had also painted a series of portraits of Rahul and Sonia Gandhi earlier.
