After all, they had to come to India for a fashion show. “I began designing my clothes the minute I knew I had to come here for this,” said Rina Latif of Bangladesh, who also insisted that the similarities in the embroidery and embellation techniques used by both the nations evoked ‘sisterly feelings’ in her.

Apart from Ritu Kumar and Anamika Khanna, who were called onto the ramp baar baar for the felicitation ceremony, there were Jattinn Kocchar, Anjana Bhargav, Niki Mahajan and Manju and Bobby Grover.
Rathi Vinay Jha said that she was happy with the show. “I’d like it if designers like these were given a platform like the fashion week for more exposure,” she said. Leena Singh made a quick entry and exit. “I have a family dinner to attend,” she said. As long as you came Leenaji!
