A musical evening at Sunder Nursery

Set in Sunder Nursery, a UNESCO-listed heritage gem in Delhi, the event brought together music enthusiasts for a captivating night under the stars. The audience swayed to melodies by guitarist Guy Buttery from South Africa, on soulful jazz reinterpreted by Israel's Danny Kuttner and witnessed a live performance of the soundtrack of a play directed by M.K. Raina on Sant Kabir, titled Kabira Khada Bazaar Mein: A Rock Opera by Dastaan Live. The audience indulged in a culinary affair with biryani, kebabs, rolls and dimsums. The fusion of music and food created an unforgettable sensory experience for Delhiites.

Amarrass Records and Amarrass Society for Performing Arts are thrilled post the season's first musical evening at Amarrass Nights @ Sunder Nursery on September 22.

Shubha Mudgal was present at the the season's first Amarrass' nights. "Thank you for hosting such a wonderful event at Sunder Nursery, Delhi on the 22nd of September. I got to hear Guy Buttery, Danny Kuttner and Dastaan Live's Kabira Khada Bazar Mein against the stunning backdrop of heritage monuments. And how on earth did you get the moon to hang like that in the sky and listen with all of us :) Many thanks for the superb arrangements," she said.

Such musical evenings will be a regular feature in Delhi's cultural calendar, with a monthly concert series running from September to April 2024. Each event promises a unique blend of international and Indian musical talent, accompanied by a delectable culinary experience, under the stars at Sunder Nursery.
