A ladies day out at F Grill and Lounge

This afternoon soiree, hosted by Ala Madhu, was dedicated to all the ladies, who love to have fun.
What else would the ladies want if they have – cocktails, crisp starters, chilled out ambience, and of course, lots of chatting on International Women’s Day – at the F Grill and Lounge. “Beauty is internal as well as external, and today, we should celebrate womanhood and its beauty,” said Ala, after which Deepali Narula took on the mike and asked the women to hit the dance floor.At first, it was the only girl’s band from Cuba – Alborada – that entertained the ladies, followed by the DJ.
After all of them danced jee jaan se, it was time to earn them back with the sumptuous lunch. The fitness experts - Vesna Jacob and Blossom Kochhar - were seen relishing salads, while the rest were tucking into curries and pastas.
Air kissing, meeting, greeting, ‘Where have you been’ , ‘Oh my, look at you, you’ve gone so slim!’... went on as Ala kept joking with them in Hindi, “Tum mera party mein late aaya... Veery baad!” Ah! After all, it was Women’s Day, iss din toh ladies ko saat khoon bhi maaf, right?
