This was a do hosted at ai, Saket, recently, for the launch of the restaurant's special Carnivore's Delight menu that included food cooked on a beehive-style woodfire.

This was a do hosted at ai, Saket, recently, for the launch of the restaurant’s special Carnivore’s Delight menu that included food cooked on a beehive-style woodfire.
AD Singh made sure that his guests are well entertained, not only with his humour but also by tucking into some fresh-out-of-the-oven duck and veggies over wine and cocktails.
Men’s night: The men clearly ruled this party.

And since they were more in number here, the conversations at the party included cricket, wine and, of course, women. Chris Cairns and Murali Kartik arrived late, coming from the Kenya and Pakistan match. On being asked by Shantanu Mehra how they could sit through such boring matches, Murali replied, “Paapi pet ka sawaal hai.” AD and Shantanu were overheard advising Chris, “Wine is like women... You are in the right place.” Shantanu looked all set for the World Cup in his cricket t-shirt and cap. Nikhil and Vidushi Mehra, however, left the party early.
Wine and dine: The guests were seen happily digging into the food and kept asking for more, so, we walked through the open kitchen and got to speak to chef Sabyasachi Gorai, who told us about some of the weirdest things he’s eaten, like raw horse meat, thinking it was something else! Nainika Karan was seen hanging around the open kitchen with Amit
Vadhera while Karan Singh chose to sit on his table and relish the food throughout the evening. Hmmm... Looks like this chef’s magic did work.
