A ‘Fashion’able do

Seema and Sandeep Jajodia���s annual bash turned out to be quite a glammed-up do this time.
What added zing to the do was the presence of director Madhur Bhandarkar and wife Renu.
Sandeep said, ���I was happy at the success of Madhur���s latest film. So, I asked him and his wife to be a part of this celebration.��� No wonder the invitation card had Madhur���s name along with co-hosts Nidhi and Amit Goel���s.
Where was the team? Many were wondering where was the cast of Madhur���s film.Madhur informed us that Priyanka and Kangna were busy shooting and hence, couldn���t have made it to the do. Madhur was also accompanied by director Ashoke Pandit.
The reticent Renu: Not a regular partygoer, Renu grabbed quite a lot of attention and many wanted to have a word with her. Madhur even playfully asked a few scribes not to talk to her since she was hesitant, but Renu was sporting enough and chatted a little. When asked if she gives him ideas, she promptly said, ���No, no. Madhur is a born filmmaker. He is extremely creative and eats, breaths, sleeps and drinks cinema. I don���t need to give him any secret magic formula.���
Some political bonding: The do also had many political figures meeting and greeting each other. Young politician Nadeem Javed came with wife Asma and said, ���Even in the middle of a packed political schedule, I couldn���t have missed this party. I also wanted to celebrate Madhur���s success.��� Navin Jindal walked in early at the do and was later joined by wife Shalu. Shahnawaz Hussain, Amar Singh, Sudhanshu Mittal and Suresh Kalmadi also added to the political presence. Some inter-party camaraderie was visible as Shahnawaz and Navin chatted for a long while.
Rare appearances: Renu���s was not the only rare appearance. Ritu Beri, who has been missing from the party scene for some time, was another. We also spotted former Miss India and TV actress Shikha Swarup. Chilly aka Rajyavardhan Rathore came in dressed in casual attire and went straight to Mohnish Bali.
