Seventy three budding designers from a fashion institute showcased their collections at a special show held at NCUI Auditorium,

, recently. The young designers worked with different themes like ‘vintage to vogue’ and ‘navrasa-

equality

in

diversity

’. Some

students

were also awarded in fashion designing and accessories designing. The collection titled Style tribe by designers Sakshi Arya and Gulnaaz Saifi was awarded as the ‘most innovative collection’. The line was inspired by African Maasai tribe. There are seven colours traditionally used by the tribe - red, white, blue, orange, yellow, green and black. Red and black were the two dominant colours in the collection.
