A cheerful pre-Christmas bash

Well, well, the Santa Claus from Finland got the guests into a festive mood at this pre-Christmas bash hosted by the Embassy of Finland.
“It would be lovely to live in a world where only the magic of Santa ruled,” said Bhimesh Issar, a guest. Terhi Hakala, ambassador of Finland expressed her wish, “I want Santa to bring peace and harmony to the world.” The guests sang carols along with the band, Ground Zero that performed here.
WHO KNOWS SANTA BEST? The emcee checked the ‘Santa quotient’ of the guests with questions like “Where does Santa Claus come from? and “What are polar nights?” The guests won tickets to Finland, got a chance to get their pictures clicked by fashion photographer Rohit Suri and more.
Santa, the Mr Popular! Going by the number of letters, 7, 00,000, Santa has already received from all over the world, he wins our Mr Popular title. Now, who doesn’t mind writing to him for some goodies! When asked, if he would like to sport any other colour than red, white and blue, he said, “No. Red is the colour of love, blue signifies heaven and white is symbolic of snow.”
