It saw a mix of people in attendance – Devi and Dilip Cherian, Rajeev Sethi, Murad Ali, Simar Duggal, Thenny and Bhavna Bawa all came for a dekko. Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna had hosted this do and they played good hosts like always.
THE WORKS: A procession of Naga sadhus, the ghats of Varanasi, a random shot of the symbol Om and a plate, two monks standing in the green valleys of Gangtok, monks passing through the lanes of Ladakh – these images attracted many art lovers and the photographers basked in the praise so generously showered on them. CONVERSATIONS: Vikram Baidyanath was spotted chatting with Thenny and Murad Ali was busy talking to his French friend Marion. PHOTOS KYUN? Photographer Amit Mehra, who is compiling a book comprising his works said, “It’s satisfying to have the freedom to do your own work. When you travel around the country, thousands of moments strike you and collecting these great visuals and sharing them with people is something each photographer looks forward to.” Also seen enjoying the evening were Shaleen Jain, Manav Gangwani and Amol Vadhera.
