Devilishly Dilli:
There’s been a night of mayhem and myth-busting in Delhi. Mayhem, because it was Halloween, and myth-busting, because it was Delhi! Nobody can say anymore that Halloween is a foreign festival, going by the way Delhi lived it up on Wednesday night.

The skeletons, the masks and all the masti made sure nobody thinks Delhi’s party hoppers are goody-goody. They proved they could be wicked, naughty, devilish – and in the case of women, bewitching in a black hat and a mask!
The spooky dos:
The dos weren’t for the faint at heart. Blood dripping from fangs, long red nails, ghostly masks – the atmosphere was perfect for a totally wild time. At one of the dos, the guests took the cake for their hatke costumes. And Rajesh Aeren and Umesh Gupta had an ‘evil spirit’ guarding the terrace of the venue of their bash – complete with a bhootiya candle!
A spook in the wheel of fun:
The preparations for the various ‘frightful’ dos was extremely innovative, with hosts providing Halloween costumes for guests who didn’t have one or just forgot to get it. Wands, red tridents, good food, drinks and some ‘horrific’ company made sure the ghosts at large on Halloween had loads of company. Halloween fever has caught on in Delhi, and it’s just going to get wilder by the year!
