Delhi girls take a step closer to the Miss Diva crown

The Delhi auditions of Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva-

India 2018 styled by Central were recently hosted at

Roseate House

. The property played a perfect host as Hospitality and Venue Partner. More than 120 girls participated for the coveted title. The audition was high on beauty and confidence as the girls gave their best in all the rounds. Besides Delhi and NCR, contestants also came from Rajasthan to try their luck, after several rounds, 11 made it to the final cut. From the 11 selected ones, Shweta Parmar from Bhuj was chosen as the Yamaha Miss Fascino by the judges at the Delhi auditions.

High on beauty and confidence
The girls not only impressed the judges with their personality but also displayed great confidence. Fashion designer

seemed impressed with the contestants. “The girls spoke very well and were very articulate. This year, I saw a lot of difference in the way the contestants carried themselves. I am so happy to see the new lot,” she said.
Miss Diva Earth 2014 Alankrita Sahai, who was also one of the judges, felt nostalgic while judging. “It was great to be back on stage where it all began for me. These girls are wonderful, they have left their jobs and cities and come to Delhi to be part of this journey. I think it is very bold and courageous of them to be here today,” she added.
For Sanjeev Dutta, educationalist and personality mentor, the participants were full of confidence, poise and style. “We had some amazing talent today. The parameters of our judging were style, poise and grace and above all – the personality skills and the confidence they could show in front of the audience,” he explained.

‘Winning this title is an honour for me’
From the 11 selected ones, four girls were chosen to compete for the Yamaha Miss Fascino title. After a Q/A round with the judges, Shweta Parmar won. “I did not expect it because there were many talented and beautiful girls here. We all know that Delhi is one of the biggest cities where participants from all over the country come, so winning this title is an honour for me,” she said.
The selected girls will be fastracked to the final round of auditions at Mumbai on July 29, 2018.
