Darshan Raval ups the tempo at Maitreyi College

Despite a strict entry system,

Maitreyi College

was chock-a block recently when singer Darshan Raval performed at the college fest,

Rhapsody

. The second and final day of the fest witnessed a power-packed performance by the singer, who started with romantic numbers with girls singing along with him, but later changed the tempo with party songs like '

Chogada

' and '

Kamariya

'.

Chants of ‘Darshan, Darshan’ and posters with messages of ‘Love you, Darshan’, welcomed the 'Chogada' singer at Maitreyi. “Is everyone enjoying the performance? I am sure you all are having fun, aapke shor se pata chal raha hai,” said Darshan.

', Darshan said, “I am going to dedicate this song to all the boys.” As he finished his performance, he added, “Ladko ke liye gaaya, tab bhi ladkiyon ki hi aawaz aa rahi thi!”
After singing romantic and party numbers, Darshan gave an open challenge to the audience to match steps with his team. While his team danced on the stage to songs like 'Chogada' and 'Kamariya', the audience gave them a tough fight, dancing on the ground. “Thank you so much for loving and all my songs,” he said before leaving the stage.

‘This is My last fest and it was amazin g because of Darshan’
For students, it was a memorable fest because of Darshan’s energy. “Even though it was crowded, the management worked well to avoid any mishap. I had an amazing time, it was my last fest and the student union made it a memorable one,” said Arushi Kalia, a third-year student of the college.
Sonam Singh, another third-year student of the college, added, “My last fest was amazing because of Darshan. I am a big fan and it was unbelievable to witness him sing all of my favourite songs at our college.”
