Chhat Puja celebrations in Mumbai
If the drive from Juhu towards town seemed much longer on Friday evening, then it was because Chhat Puja celebrations were in order.
Sanjay Nirupam was the host of one such Chhat Puja and along with the tradional ceremonies, there was much song and dance as well. Mamta Sharma of Munni Badnaam Hui fame set the tone when she sang Beedi Jalaiye Le. Ravi Kissen was at his wittiest best as he regaled the huge crowd with some popular Bhojpuri dialogues.
