There’s something about the spirit of participation that makes you wanna stand up and clap your hands in unbridled joy.
The auditions for the Clean and Clear Fresh Face 2010, which at Easwari Engineering College was one such occasion.
About 50 contestants, each one of them with the drive to stand out and prove their mettle to the world, tried their hand at making it to the top.

Encompassing a range of talents — from on-the-spot drawing (by Kishore) to mimicking their favourite comedians (PR Sriram) to even whistling out songs close to their hearts, rendering poetry (C Manikandan) and of course, going all out on dancing to some semma sizzling Tamil folksy numbers (Gopalakrishnan on New Age Aatichudi and Akshaya R on Banaras pattu katti) — this gang did it all.
While the judges, singer Divya and Radio Mirchi RJ Anand enthusiastically applauded the youngsters for their performances, mimicry maestro Ashraf and dancing diva Varsha (Kannodu Kanbathellam) walked away with the top honours of the day.
