Subbulakshmi's musical evening

Rare photographs of M S Subbulakshmi welcomed the guests as they entered, along with her other favourites — the nadhaswaram, mallipoo and her perfume of choice.
This had guests instantly reminiscing her voice, her loving smile and her warm personality. Sheraton Park Hotel and Towers played perfect host by serving amma’s favourite crunchy bajji’s, medu vadas, rasmalai and chukku coffee that she often served to her guests.
Gopal Krishna Gandhi, gave a heart-warming speech about MS and the evening saw musicians, who have accompanied her, celebrate her radiance. The event was also marked by the launch of a music album, which brings together seven themes of all-time hits of MS, dedicated to Lord Balaji.
