Meeting of the West and the East

It was the launch of a food festival with a difference at a popular star hotel, and it turned out to be one classy affair!
The Orient met the West and it was a combination that was quite a hit with the guests who were gathered.
The guests themselves were an illustrious bunch ��� leading ladies and gentlemen from the city, from different walks of life.
They had the opportunity of sampling the food before anyone else, and by the looks of it, they seemed to be enjoying every minute...or rather every bite of it.
Among those gathered were Karen and Axel, who had a great time on the occasion. They even sportingly posed for the lensmen, smiles in place.
Also in attendance was artist Shalini Biswajit who looked uber-relaxed in her casual ensemble of a grey striped t shirt and pedal pushers. The lady was in her element and mingled freely with everyone and spread cheer.
Lynne Connor on the other hand went the Indian way and sported an airy kurta to match the breezy occasion. She was as usual all smiles and made for a pleasant picture.
In all, the launch was an enjoyable one and those gathered had more than their fair share of delicious food!
