Chennai's annual Easter ball

Had Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix been around at this recent event, they would not have felt the least bit out of place.
True to the theme, Chennai’s wackiest bunch of runners turned up for their annual Easter ball dressed to the T in signature 1970s garb, rather successfully recreating the feel of the iconic Woodstock era. Flower prints, psychedelic patterns, head bands, colourful afros...it was the perfect occasion to dress up in true-blue hippie style!
And guests, who came in by the dozen, used the opportunity to let their hair down and relax in the company of their friends, while sipping on some drinks and shaking the occasional leg.
In all, this party was the club’s way of saying ‘peace out’ Chennai!
