Camaraderie over fashion

Kiran Rao and Mathangi played perfect hosts as Chamiers celebrated its fifth anniversary recently. The event started with a fashion show, where stunning city models scorched the ramp.
The ladies in beautiful ethnic prints and the men in stylish western and traditional wear wowed the crowd. Among those spotted were designers Chaitanya Rao and Lokesh Ahuja who used the opportunity to catch up with each other, and ace director Rajiv Menon who looked his usual relaxed self in a vividly printed shirt.
The end of the fashion show saw the usual mix of dinner, cocktails and banter. Having a gala time was cricketing hero Dennis Lily who mingled easily with the gathering. Also spotted was Ranvir Shah who chatted with socialites Minnie Menon and Brigit, and sisters Lakshmi and Saraswathi who came dressed in vibrant hues.
